Ananda Marga Polytechnic Kolar former name KREC established in 1986 an affiliated college under VTU located at Veerappanagar, Kudiyanur Post, Malur Taluk Kolar District Karnataka. This institution provides diploma courses in the different fields of engineering. Located in a 10 acre compound, the polytechnic offers sound technical education to students who intend to be engineers. Ananda Marga Polytechnic with a total student enrolment of 405 for six diploma courses, intends to produce competent professional in the field of engineering and technology.

Ananda Marga Polytechnic is affiliated to the college Directorate of Technical Education, Bangalore. Different facilities in the Ananda Marga Polytechnic help to enhance the student’s academic performance and personal growth. The multiple professional and new generation books and journals are supplemented with digital library facilities which are the backbone of a knowledge acquiring source.
