As a B.B.A student at Andaman and Nicobar College (ANCOL), my experience has been quite positive. The college provides a strong academic foundation with qualified and supportive faculty members who make learning engaging. The infrastructure is impressive, with spacious classrooms and a well-maintained library. Although the college is still new and lacks formal placement services or postgraduate options, it offers a peaceful and focused environment for undergraduate studies. The off-campus hostel is manageable thanks to regular college bus services. ANCOL is a growing institution with great potential for future students.
Pursuing B.B.A at ANCOL was a great experience. Supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and a peaceful environment make it ideal for UG studies, though placements are not yet available. A better guidance and overall focus on learning and enhancing skill of students.
placement to the college is limited . As its a small island and doesn't have access to a wide range of infrastructure and a big companies . But the college management has invited some companies last year name Sisco business solutions
Infrastructure overall is good like connectivity, parking facility, ground, classrooms, canteens are good but certain things such as toilets can be better apart from this the infrastructure is quite good.
Academics are not good as well as not bad. The faculties are good they are friendly and helpful to the students. They address any issue faced by the student and help them sort it out. Overall it is above average.
Placements are not provided by the college the students have to find jobs on their own. Majority of the students go to pursue higher studies and rest of the students find jobs or else start some business.
As it is a government college you have to pay little to no money. So considering that factor it is ''OK" to study here.
Events apart from freshers, farewell and sports event nothing much happens.
It's a good college for bachelor degree. It has 8 stream from which one can do their graduation. It's a Government College and faculty members are also good, one can think of earning a degree from this college.
Good faculty members and have knowledge of their domain. They provide all the notes which are necessary for the students. They help and guide students whenever it's needed. Overall, it's a good college in Andaman.
I have no idea about the placement cell, as I went to do masters. But one can ask the admission cell or college office to get the information about the placements, I'm sure teachers would happy to help.
It's a Government College so it has its perks
Campus life is just ok.
Everyone one have a dream of going to a college with a very good infrastructure, but this college have merely 2 buildings that to for the name sake. Don't expect any kind huge infrastructure in this college.
The academics of the other departments were may be good I don't know exactly but they are at least 2 or 3 well qualified profesors but our psychology department is having only one well qualified professor that too she is only teaching final year students. The remaining 4 teachers are good for nothing they are not at all good at teaching wise which is their job.
If there was a option of no stars then I would have given so. Andaman College just doesn't provide any kind of replacement at all. Neither they provide any internship program for the students studying in their college.
