Annie Besant College of Education, Khammam is located in Telangana, India and was founded in the year 1999 as an affiliated college. This institution, recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE),  focuses on offering teacher education programmes. The college is located in an 8 acre land and provides two full-time courses with a student enrolment of 96 in total. the faculty strength of the college is 8 and therefore, has a good student-teacher ratio. The goal of the institution is to provide quality education with a distinct focus on the titles in the area of education.

Annie Besant College of Education has various learning amenities that have been put in place in order to improve the student experience of the college. The B.Ed programme has an intake capacity of 100 numbers and the D.Ed programme has an intake capacity of 50 numbers only.

The process of admission followed at Annie Besant College of Education is merit base and the college follows guidelines of admission policies of state government, Union Territory administration and the guidelines of the University. For the B.Ed programme, students are admitted based on their performance on the qualifying examination and an entrance test.
