Ansar Training College for Women, Perumpilavu was established in 2005 is an affiliated college in Thrissur, Kerala. This women only college, recognised by NCTE- National Council for Teacher Education, offer teacher education programme. Located in a 4.33 acre compound, the college delivers a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme with an intake of two hundred students. As of now, the institute has strength of faculty 17 with an ideal student-teacher ratio thus helping the trainees to get individual care and quality education.

Ansar Training College for Women has various facilities for the students to improve their academic and personal education. The college library  has a good collection of 6,000 books consisting of dictionaries, encyclopedia,  educational journals and periodicals. It has its own Health and Physical Education Resource Centre and a large playground to support various sporting activities.
