gmat score for mba in xime bangalore

Hi Komal,

The cutoff for XIME Bangalore in GMAT is 75 percentile or above. Candidates securing 75 or more percentile in GMAT exam will be eligible for participating in the XIME Bangalore selection process or admission process. Could anyone give me the dates of all the entrance exams [CAT, CMAT, GMAT, NMAT, XAT, SNAP, ATMA} for mba this year ??

Hey Rupa,

The exam dates for the following exams ( MBA ) are as follow

CAT

November 24, 2019

CMAT

This exam has been conducted this year on January 28,2019. You can apply this next year , the exam date for next year is January 19,2020

GMAT

You can choose the date for exam at the time of registration (your choice)

NMAT

The date has not been finalized yet, it could be conducted between October 4,2019 to December 17,2019

This exam has been conducted this year on January 17,2019. You can apply for the same next year , the exam will be conducted in January 2019

SNAP

December 15, 2019

ATMA

This exam is conducted in session every month, you can give ATMA on July 21, 2019

Dear Shikhar,

Nice to know that you want to go abroad for your higher education.

Whether you should give GRE/GMAT or GATE depends upon the program or the country you want to opt to pursue your higher education for.

While GMAT is given by MBA aspirants, Engineering aspirants for GRE. A few universities in Singapore and Germany accept GATE score for their Masters courses.

Yes student you can apply for as
Eligibility for cat - A candidate is eligible to appear inCAT2019 if he/she holds a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) categories, need at least 45% marks.

Eligibility for gmat - The eligibility criteria for the GMAT exam have not been officially stated by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), but the candidates must possess the following qualification to take admission in the MBA programme of foreign university. The candidate must be minimum 18 years of age

I have scored 45% in my 12th(sci) from CBSE can these marks could be a huddle in my path to get a Mba college through CAT OR GMAT?

Dear Moulik,

CAT and GMAT are highly competitive exams.

Apart from the CAT or GMAT scores, to be eligible for even shortlisting (first shortlisting is done, then interviews then final calls), the colleges take academic performance & work experience very seriously.

One of my friends had 99.78%ile in CAT 2018. Academically he was decent securing 77% in 12th(SCI), still, he was not shortlisted by IIM-A & B.

But, apart from CAT and GMAT you still have other exams like IIFT, SNAP, NMAT, and XAT which gives you a call based solely on respective exams score. You just need to clear the cutoffs and you will be called for interview. From there onwards it will be your responsibility to tackle the panels when you will be asked on low academics.

When can be fill the forms of GMAT

Hey!

So I will tell you in steps that how and when you can fill for GMAT-

Create a GMAT account: This is the first step and you have to creat a GMAT account on GMAC
Register yourself: You can fix your appointment for test
Provide the necessary informaton: After fixing the test appointment you have to provide the mandatory information required.
You can also provide additional information like your work experience, qualifications, projects, Goals etc. (optional)
Recheck the whole profile so that there should be no errors in your profile and it is accurate.
Select a Test centre: You can select test center according to your preference
Select a date: You can select the date of your test according to your preference
Make the payment: This is the final step to confirm you exam. The test fees is around US$250 which is around 17,478 Indian Rupees.

So you can fill the examination form anytime according to your preference as GMAT is conducted whole year.

What is difference between gmat and cat

GMAT is for doing MBA in foreign countries and CAT is doing MBA in India .

In GMAT the verbal section is difficult and Quant section is easy GMAT is of 350 marks and CAT is of 300 marks In CAT Quant is Difficult but verbal is difficult .

You can appear for GMAT anytime in a year but CAT has a fixed date and is nearly in last week of November.

Is passport necessary to sit in gmat exam?

A valid photo ID is a must to sit in gmat exam , an id that should contain your photograph , signature, with your registered date of birath and name. Passports are mandatory when you write your exam outside of your country of citizenship. If you are indian writing in USA its necessary that you take your passport to your exam venue for verification purposes.

CAN I APPLY FOR CAT,XAT,GMAT EXAM AFTER B.COM(PASS).

Yes definitely you can apply for all the management exams after completing your b.com degree.

In MBA colleges you have upper hand as to maintain diversity in their colleges they prefer non engineers like you to be enrolled in their college and plus you have already studied material related to management course so it helps you while pursuing your degree.

So without any doubt go for it you are definitely eligible to appear in all management courses. Only thing you need to satisfy the min 50% criteria in all academic degree like 10th 12th and graduation for general category and 45% for others.
