Anwar-ul-Uloom College of Education is one of the premier institutions training teachers since 1988 is situated in Hyderabad in the state of Telangana. This college for boys and girls of Osmania University is focused on the formation of the future teachers. Affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) the institute offers two professional courses in education. The college is located in a small campus of 0.79592 acres and it has a total of 289 students and 33 faculty members student-faculty ratio is as low as 8: 1, which makes our teaching environment and learning effective and efficient.

The admission process varies for different programmes offered but for the B. Ed programme, the candidates are admitted according to the percentage obtained in the qualifying examination and /or an entrance test as per Osmania University norms. Likewise, for the D. El . Ed programme, admissions are based on the merit obtained in the qualifying examination and /or SCERT in accordance with the norms.
