Apollo Institute of Technology, Kanpur was established in 2008. The institute is approved by the All Indian council of Technical Education( AICTE), New Delhi . The institute is affiliated with the  Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and CSJM University.   The university offers various courses in multiple fields at four levels of programmes. The AIT admissions are offered in diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes. Candidates interested in applying for any course must meet the AIT eligibility criteria and take the relevant entrance exam. For diploma courses, the JEECUP is required, for B.Tech, the JEE Main is necessary, and for MBA, candidates must appear for the UPCET or an equivalent examination.
