Arjun College Of Technology, Kinathukadavu (ACT) is an engineering college located in private sector, which was founded in 2013. This college affiliated to Anna University, Chennai is one of the best engineering colleges situated in Tamil Nadu offers undergraduate courses in engineering. The college spreads over an area of 10.79 acres and published enrolment figure of 432 students and employs faculties of 93. The college offers eight courses under a single degree, but with a specialisation in the engineering field. With a diverse student body of 518, including 429 male and 89 female students, ACT maintains a 5:1 male-to-female ratio. High lights of the study is that: The sample includes 293 students, 60% of total population are out side Tamil Nadu students, mark the expansion of the institution beyond Tamil Nadu.

The college actually provides nine full-time undergraduate engineering courses that include BE and B.Tech. These courses cover numerous specialisations that include civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering mechanical engineering, artificial intelligence and data science, computer science and business systems and information technology. 

Tamil nadu engineering admissions known as TNEA is the major mode of admission in Arjun College of Technology. The college offers admission to the students through two categories, known as Government Quota (GQ) and Management Quota (MQ). The SC/ST category students are admitted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission 2008 counselling for the Government Quota while in the Management Quota admissions are through consortium ranking. Candidates willing to apply must have done their 10+2 education in the science stream and passed with at least the required percentage.
