Arni School of Computer Science was set up in 2011 as a constituent college at Kathgarh, Tehsil Indora, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. This college is a co-educational college that focused on computer science and technology, providing undergraduate and postgraduate degree levels to its students. Boasting a faculty of 20 members the school allows for a specialised learning for the students interested in the dynamically developing sphere of computer science. The institute offers two full-time degree programmes: BCA, three-year under graduate degree programme and MCA, a three-year post graduate degree programme.

Arni School of Computer Science contains all necessary facilities on campus in order to create an effective learning environment for students. The institute is quite proud of having two different hostels for boys and girls and these are well equipped to provide a ‘Home away from home’. Every hostel has spacious and decorated rooms and can house roughly about 900 students in double and triple sharing basis. The campus also has a 10 bedded Central Medical Clinic with trained human resource and ambulance facilities to support fast medical assistance to students and staffs. The physical training facilities in both boys, and girls’ hostel include a gym only for the exercise lovers where cardio and weight training machines are available having professional trainers.

A total of two courses are being offered by Arni School of Computer Science and both are full time. BCA or Bachelors of Computer Applications and MCA or Master of Computer Applications as the name suggests is one of the best courses to get a rich computer applications background.
