Aroor Laxminarayana Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College and PG Centre, Koppa, is one of the reputed institutions to study Ayurvedic course. This affiliated college was founded in 1987, situated in Koppa, Karnataka, and lies over 29-acres of greenery. Affiliated to the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM), the college has a number of Ayurvedic courses for its 314 students. The institute has 47 members in its faculty, thus providing the students the benefit of favourable ratio of students to teachers. 

The Aroor Laxminarayana Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College and PG Centre has put in place several facilities that should aid the learning process of the students. Being an essential service, this facility is installed at the center of the campus to ensure that college learners access first aid or other medical services, in times of need. With a starting point in 1987, this library has expanded phenomenal and today boasts over 9600 books on Ayurveda and related subjects. Making provision for the use of digital resources, the college launched a digital library in 2008-09 whereby students are provided a link to numerous resources. In physical health, the campus provides for the sporting infrastructure and a gym. It also has similar up to date laboratories for each department for practicals and research purposes. Other facilities include the facility for holding event like seminars, cafeteria and transport facilities for student and staffs.

ALRMAAMC & PG Centre, an affiliated College of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, has provided four full-time courses to facilitate the education both at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level for the students of Ayurveda.

Any student seeking admission in the Aroor Laxminarayana Rao Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College and PG Centre would need to take some examinations that would show that student is qualified for the course on merit basis. For the BAMS programme, the admissions are written tests done by the marks scored by the college. It also permits scores made on national level examinations and these include National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate, and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate(NEET-PG).
