VP Muthaiah Pillai Meenakshi Ammal Engineering College for Women, Srivilliputtur, recognised in the year 2002, is exclusively an engineering college for women in Tamil Nadu, India. Located on a large campus of 100 acres, this is an AICTE-approved affiliated college. It has an overall enrolment capacity of 240 students and a faculty strength of 78 and provides various engineering courses. This institute offers twelve courses in two qualifications to advance different branches of engineering. Furthermore, as an all-women college, it also helps to increase the number of female technical students in the region.

It has a total of 12 courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate level education for women in VP Muthaiah Pillai Meenakshi Ammal Engineering College for Women. The undergraduates include full-time BE/B.Tech programmes in computer science and engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology, and Civil Engineering. Also at the postgraduate level, the college offers ME programmes in computer science and engineering electronics and communication engineering, power electronics and drives and VLSI Design. The total approved intake for all courses offered is 318, with 60 for major undergraduate programmes and 12 for each of the postgraduate courses offered.
