Arunachala College of Engineering For Women Nagercoil is an affiliated college, started in the year 2009 located in Tamil Nadu, India. This women-only institute is accredited to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and started offering a number of engineering and management courses. It occupies a 10 acre piece of land and the total number of student enrolment for the college is 1,507 out of which 1,347 students are enroled in under graduate courses and 229 are enroled in post graduate courses. The candidates and members of the faculty total 150; the institute offers 13 courses under four comprehensive degree programmes with courses in engineering and management.

Education facilities provided by the college includes a full package of facilities for benefit of the students. Some of the available practical amenities of the campus include Civil Engineering Laboratory and Electrical and Electronics Laboratory and Electronics and Communication Engineering Laboratory. Internet connectivity of 10 Mbps from a central computing facility increases the IT facilities. It has in stock over 8,500 books, e-journal and e-books are also available in DEL Net. Support facilities that the college provides for the comfort of students include a large hygienic eating place in the form of canteen, a shop and completely secure, well furnished girls’ Hostel named ‘Seetha Lakshmi Hostel’. The hostel provides neat and clean environment with proper meals and disciplined environment. Sports facilities and equipment for sports and games are available in the College for exercises, a Gymnasium is available for general body exercises, Health Centre with first aid facilities for medical purposes. Transport facilities of the college includes those which are adopted for different routes in Kanyakumari District and the nearby regions.

Currently, the college provides various programmes that cater to 9 full-time under graduate programmes and 5 full-time post graduate programmes. 

The recruitment of students in Arunachala College of Engineering for Women is done on merit basis. Some of the postgraduate programmes require the students to take scores from the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). But, for the undergraduate admission, the institute is bound by the rules and regulations governing Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions or TNEA.
