Arunai college of Education was started in the year 2008 and it is an affiliated college situated at Tiruvannamalai District of Tamil Nadu. This institution is a teachers training and a grants university that provides both undergraduate and post graduate courses. Recognised by NAAC & Approved by NCTE, Arunai College of Education provides quality education to learners. Spread over an area of 0.90115 acres, the college currently has a total of 360 students and has 26 members on its faculty. The institute offers two degree programmes: Bachelors in Education – B. Ed, Master’s in Education M. Ed for those who wish to teach at different levels.

These include the package deal of a learning facilities which the college has established with a view of helping the students improve learning outcomes as they carry out their studies. Literature refers to a storage area where information necessary in teacher training is retrieved from efficiently. The auditorium supports different activities, including seminars, that help students to progress in their development. With regards to its academic programmes, Arunai College of Education has majors in two major courses. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme is a two-year direct programme with only an aggregate admission capacity of one hundred (100) admissions. This programme of study provides a basic preparation for anybody who intends to pursue a carrier in teaching. For those who wish to pursue higher studies for enhancement of educational qualification the college offer a Master of Education (M.Ed) a two-year full time course with an approved san of 50 students.
