Introduction

The Aryabharathi Polytechnic College was established in the year 1983. The institute is affiliated to the Board of Technical Examination, Bangaluru, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and also recognized by the Government of Karnataka. ABPT Tumkur offers 7 diploma courses. The ABPT Tumkur courses include Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Apparel Design & Fabrication Technology (ADFT), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Civil Engineering (CE) and Automobile Engineering (AE). Candidates must have passed in S.S.L.C/10th conducted by the Government of Karnataka with the minimum required marks.

Candidates from other states can also apply for ABPT Tumkur diploma courses, but they must full the eligibility criteria. The Aryabharathi Polytechnic eligibility criteria is different for other state candidates. To get admission to Aryabharathi Polytechnic, Tumkur, students have to download the application form on the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka. Candidates must fill out the application form and submit it along with the relevant required documents. They need to pay the application fee and prospectus fee of Rs.300. The Aryabharathi Polytechnic admission is based on the merit.

The Aryabharathi Polytechnic is located at Saraswathipuram extension of Tumakuru, Karnataka. The college is located in Tumakuru, a city close to Bengaluru, the capital of the state of Karnataka, and about an hour's drive from there on NH-4.
