    Ashvin Rural Ayurved College and Hospital, Manchi Hill inaugurated in the year 2000, is one of the leading colleges imparting education as well as health care in the Ayurved system. Sangamner a place in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, this affiliated college stretches over 40 acres of land. 

    Ashvin Rural Ayurved College and Hospital has the approval of the Central Council for Indian Medicine since its programme focuses on Ayurveda education. This college has a total strength of 216 students and a faculty strength of 60, It offers 6 courses in 2 different degree programmes in which all streams in totally related to Ayurveda medicine. It is an open co-educational institution which means that the school is ready to accept students of all sexes. The college has amply equipped amenities required to support the learning and development of students as well as their general lifestyle. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

    On this campus, there are boy’s hostels and girl’s hostels to enhance the comfort and convenience of the students, the hostels are equipped with some facilities like balconies, dining halls and laundry. A spacious gymnasium helps the fitness freaks, user-friendly timings, and a separate section for boys and girls students. The central library functions as a repository for the source of knowledge, and has a huge collection of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals, CDs, DVDs, soft copies of articles and periodicals and other multimedia facilities.

There are 6 full-time courses offered by the institute with an enrolment of a total of 83 seats that have been approved for different specialisations. BAMS is the key programme for the college and offers 60 seats for eligible students. At the postgraduate level college offers many MD courses in Ayurveda in different specialisations with 5-6 seat capacity. These are – MD Kayachikitsa, MD Shalya Tantra, MD Rasashastra and Bhaishajyakalpana, MD Stree Rog and Prasuti Tantra, and MD Kaumarbhritya Balrog. The various courses to support student interests which focus on different areas of Ayurveda serve as a strong base for the future Ayurvedic practitioners, researchers and scholars.
