Established in the year 2008, ASN Women's Engineering College in Guntur is a premier institution for women's education in engineering. Spread across 5.18 acres of lush campus land, it has affiliation to the Tenali region of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. The admission at ASN Women's Engineering College is strictly based on the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). For undergraduate courses, 70% of the seats are filled by the convenor of centralised admissions with the support of the government. The test AP EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test) is conducted. The remaining 30% of the seats fall under the B-category (Management/NRI), which is considered for admissions by the college. This is the category for which the college makes a direct recruitment of students. The college publishes a notification in popular daily regional newspapers to request applications. After this process, the merit list is prepared and displayed on the notice board. Besides above, 20% of the seats are carved out in each course of lateral entry admissions, which shall be for the diploma holders into the 2nd year conducted through E-CET. The college admits students based on the AP EAMCET test, conducted as one of the reputed entrance tests for Andhra Pradesh state engineering aspirants.
