Library: The Central Library of Assam Medical College has a huge collection of books - 40701 medical books out of which textbooks and reference books are 22,216 & 18,485 respectively. The library also has a collection of 9956 no. of back volumes of journals and 2602 nos of the thesis presented by the postgraduate students of the institute.
The Central Library caters to the needs of faculty members, students (PG, MBBS & B.Sc Nursing etc) and Paramedical Staffs. It has a seating capacity of 200 readers with separate reading space for the undergraduate’s students, post-graduate students and faculty members. diploma in pharmacy is 3 years duration diploma course, eligibility criteria is you need to pass 10+2 course from a recognized education board with physics, chemistry and biology as a subject, some of the institute take admission basis on 10+2 score and some of the college take admission by state level entrance test, you need to check the official website of the college and apply.
