Attri College of Education for Girls, Mohali, was established in 2007 and this affliated college offers teacher education. Sited in Lalru Mandi on Chandigarh Ambala Highway, this institution occupies a total area of 1.6845 acres. The college, approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), offers two full-time courses, B.Ed and D.El.Ed. Therefore, the college has a total of 175 students enrolment with equal number on enrolments which prevent the college from getting overcrowded. The faculty consists of 16 highly qualified teachers, who will pay individual attention to students and provide qualitative education to those who are willing to become teachers.

Attri College of Education for Girls has all the necessities that a student needs in their day to day times. A modern equipped library is available for students providing books and magazines for listening and reading. The college pays much attention to health and this is evident through the college dispensary which is run by a professional Medical Assistant. For hi-tech learning, a modern computer laboratory equipped with internet connection is provided. Atri College of Education for Girls provides two courses for teacher education. In the case of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), the course structure is two years full time with an approved intake capacity of one hundred students. The second type comprised of two-year full time programmes include Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) that enrols 50 students. 

The admission process of Attri College of Education for Girls is not same for all the courses. The B.Ed programme is also followed through the Centralised Online Counselling procedure as per the order of the honourable High Court of Punjab & Haryana. This process is controlled by the federation for all member associations of Self-Financed Colleges of Education associated with different universities in Punjab. The D.El.Ed admission is merit based as per the marks secured in qualifying /entrance examination, prescribed as per policy of the state Govt or UT Administration.
