The Design Institute, Hyderabad was inaugurated in 2015; Aurora’s Design Institute Hyderabad is one of the best institutions that offer architectural education for young and creative brains. This affiliated college is situated at Hyderabad, and it is approved by the council of Architecture so there educational quality is very good. The institute is located in a small 1.49 acre plot in which provides a niche environment for learning architecture. Aurora's Design Institute currently provides two specialised programmes: a 5-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and a 2-year Master of Architecture in Building Construction Management (M.Arch BCM) and was designed to provide for undergraduate and postgraduate students with the desire to impact the built environment positively.
They also provide high quality and multi equipped learning facilities as a way of improving their students learning environments. Thecolourful, newly stocked library has over a thousand books, nine licensed journals and e-journals mostly focusing on architecture, urban design, planning and related disciplines. Indeed, it also provides printing, scanning, and photocopying services, and has adequate facilities for research and studies. The modern computer labs contain the most up-to-date software and graphic packages, such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D, Sketch, Up & GIS for architectural design. In the practical learning domain, Aurora’s Design Institute has a workshop with technicians and experts where students can make concept models and prototypes of furniture and some architectural designs as well as build full size prototypes. Climatology lab with fully equipped instruments helps students to measure and analyse other valuable environmental parameters that are essential for designing sustainable places.
In all, Aurora by Design institute has only two full- time courses, which were also been developed to solve the current challenges facing the architecture and construction industry. The B.Arch program and the M.Arch in Building Construction Management.

The admission requirements for the Aurora’s Design Institute are intended to admit the most qualified students in the offered architectural programs. For the B.Arch programme, the candidates have to take the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) an online test. A minimum pass mark of 40% in NATA is obligatory in order to qualify for the exam. The final list, for admission, is based on the cumulative of the normalised scores, where 50% importance had been assigned for NATA score and 50% for the qualifying examination.

The Aurora's Design Institute admission is cumulative on a weightage basis, giving equal marks (50% each) to the NATA score and the qualifying test (10+2 or equivalent).
