AVK Institute of Management, Bengaluru was set up in 2019 and thus belongs to the newer generation of educational institutes in India. This is a college located in Chikkagollarahatti, Magadi Road, Bangalore as affiliated as well as approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Although the institute is relatively young, having started in the year 1996, today AVK Institute of Management is recognised as a focused institute specifically for management education. The institute is thus currently conducting classes for 73 students and has a complement of fourteen faculty members which provide a healthy student faculty ratio conforming to individualized attention and quality education.

AVK Institute of Management provides variety of services to serve the academic atmosphere that prevails in it. The library is a knowledge centre; it is proved by the fact that students are offered a great number of resources necessary for their academic process. Adequate and well endowed laboratories meet the practical sessions needed in learning by putting into practice the theories learnt. The college has strong technical facilities to improve on technology which is essential in today’s global business world. Moreover, there is availability of sports facilities, which enhances the exercise of the students’ health and also their ability to develop teamwork.

The AVK Institute of Management at present has only one main course, namely the Master of Business Administration (MBA). This is a full time programme that takes two years to complete has an approved capacity of 60 students and as an institute, we ensure that the capacity is well maintained to enhance learning. It is a prestigious academic course that prepared students to meet the global challenges of the growing business world in terms of management. Although the institute offers only this single degree at the moment, it shows that the institute has a niche direction in the management education with an explicit possibility to offer intensive specialisations.
