Awadh Dental College and Hospital was established in the year 2007 in Jamshedpur in the state of Jharkhand. This affiliated college is located in a vast land of 5.05 acres and holds DCI- the Dental Council of India approval. The institute offers a range of dental programmes, including 1 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate courses, catering to a diverse student body of 548, with a female-to-male ratio of 1.71:1. The college has a faculty strength of 167 skilled, qualified and committed academicians to churn out quality education to the students.

 Awadh Dental College and Hospital  has modern infrastructure necessities for academic operations within its college. The library containing number of dental articles, journals, and multimedia resources is capable of handling classes of 100 students. Regarding skills lab, there are fully equipped lab which include clinical lab for blood test, diagnostic centres etc. It also has separate hostel accommodation for boy and girls with spacious room with well furnished with attached toilet and with available air conditioner. Students are privileged to utilise a gym, cricket field, football ground, Basketball court area and Badminton hall, and facility for indoor games.

The college offers 8 programmes, which are all at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and are all full time programs. The BDS and seven MDS specialisation courses. They are Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Periodontology.

College Infrastructure

The college has necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Good classrooms, libraries, studies done through slides. Good playground, volleyball court and badminton court . Clean and hygienic food.

It is the best college to study in Jharkhand.

College Infrastructure

I took admission in year 2009.It is the best dental college of Jharkhand with a very good infrastructure and various facilities like libraries to study individually, separate hostels for boys and girls where washrooms are attached to the rooms, 24hrs water facility, proper hygiene and cleanliness is maintained. There is also a TV in Hall rooms of hostel so that you can enjoy in your free time, a good connectivity of Wi Fi etc.
