Baba Farid Law College Faridkot was established in the year 2004 is an affiliated college situated in Faridkot Punjab. Affiliated to the Bar Council of India (BCI), this institution offers course in law. Located in a 13 acre premises the college is offering two law courses with total enrolment of 925 students. The faculty includes 7 diligent workers which allows addressing each student personally. Baba Farid Law College aims at excellence in legal education and — career building of the students in the legal profession.

For convenience of the learners the college has put in place various amenities to facilitate learning The various amenities include. To cater the need of the students, there are well furnished boys and girls hostels having common room, TV and indoor games facilities. The boys’ hostel also has a shooting and volleyball ground in place, and a tennis court is planned for the girls’ hostel. The library as a core of any university encompasses a large number of textbooks, reference books, and legal works. An up-to-date moot court facility enables a student to simulate court activities in order to improve his/her skills. Some of the additional amenities available include: laboratories, an event/ seminar hall, a cafeteria, well equipped IT facilities, sports amenities, and an accommodation facility for faculties from other stations and parents/ guardians of students.

Baba Farid Law College offers two full-time law courses: BA LLB and LLB. BA LLB is integrated five-year program while LLB is three-year program. They are both entirely academic in that they give the students a broad perspective of the law and readiness for several careers in the field of law. 

Admission toward Baba Farid Law College is strictly online counselling procedure done by the University which is authorised by the Government of Punjab. Like other self-financed individual private colleges, the college secures 85% state quota seats and out of this, 15% is offered under management quota.
