Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) is a three-year full-time programme in Law offered by Punjabi University, Patiala with the approval of Bar Council of India (BCI).
Admission Process
The admission shall be given on the basis of online counseling to be conducted by the University authorized by Government of Punjab. Baba Farid Law College, being an unaided private self-financed institution, has 15% seats of 85% state quota seats as management quota. The seats under management quota shall be filled up on the basis of merit. There shall be no reservation in management quota seats. If a student fails to attend the classes for 07 days continuously from the date of admission or commencement of teaching in every new session, whichever is later, his/her admission shall be canceled and the fee (other than refundable) shall be forfeited.
Eligibility Criteria
- Seeking admission into 3-year law course qualifications needed are only 12th and three-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification for seeking admission into 3-year law course,
- The qualifications of 10th, 12th (+2) and graduation may be obtained through any mode (distance/correspondence / open schooling method).
- And the Pass percentage is 45% for general category, 42% for OBC category, and 40% for SC/ST category.
