Babu Nakki Singh Smarak Mahavidyalaya is an educational college affiliated to the MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly situated in Azamgarh Uttar Pradesh and is working since the year 2007. This affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) provides both arts and education combination. The college undertakes 263 students in aggregate and 22 faculty members which offer a selective learning environment. The institute currently offers two full-time degree programmes: a four-year programme of Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), for students with varied area specialisations.

For those who want to teach, and for the first-time teacher, the D.El.Ed two-year full-time Diploma in Elementary Education programme is there for 50 students. They relate to the institute’s core values involving liberal arts and the profession of teaching. In sum, the college has 470 intentional seats in two programmes which emphasise plenty of opportunity for potential learners. Being one of the private colleges of WB, the admission criteria at Babu Nakki Singh Smarak Mahavidyalaya differ from programme to programme of study. Unlike the above-said programmes, the D.El.Ed programme has laid down certain admission procedures. As per the policy of the state government or UT administration, admissions are merit-based; there will sometimes be the marks of the qualifying examination or entrance examination.
