Babu Sushil Singh Institute of Polytechnic College, Azamgarh, was set up in 2019 as a young growing institution in the technical stream. This affiliated college is located in Nibi, Belaisa, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute has three diploma courses: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Production Engineering. At present, the college has a strength of 39 teaching faculty members who are devoted to fostering a comprehensive learning atmosphere for the students of the college.

Babu Sushil Singh Institute of Polytechnic College has several facilities that serve to improve the learning process of the students in the institute. The college library as a knowledge centre provides the necessary resources needed in the effective and efficient achievement of academic goals. There are one or more departmental laboratories in all departments where students may practice actual techniques to supplement content knowledge. In addition, the college boasts of quality in IT through training students to meet the challenges posed by the omnipresent digital milieu in the current world of engineering.

Institute of Polytechnic College through Babu Sushil Singh offers a selective number of full time diploma courses in engineering fields. There are at the moment three diploma courses offered in the institute, all of which take three years to complete. The opportunity for the interest groups: Diploma in Civil Engineering takes a total of 60 students while Diploma in Electrical Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering take 120 students each. This means that across all the courses we have been able to admit 300 students, which shows the institutes ability to train and produce a large number of young engineers.
