Balasaheb Desai College, Patan, established in 1969 is situated at Satara, Maharashtra. Its campus spreads on 10.3 acres. NAAC accredited, with the student strength of 2,575 and faculty strength of 98 members, it accommodates 9 degrees with 13 courses. The total strength of the student body is 51% males and 49% females at the undergraduate level while a prominent percentage of females at the postgraduate level are 63%.
