About Baliapal College of Physical Education, Balasore

Balipar by suppressing from the year 1981 is one of the widely known and premier institution in the field of physical education in Balasore of Odisha India. Situated at Baliapal, District- Balasore, Orissa, it is a co-educational college affiliated to the Utkal University and recognized by NCTE following the NCETE Act, 1993. The college is located across a campus of 8310 sqm and has the enrolment of 300 students in total and 12 faculty members. Baliapal College of Physical Education imparts three different programme in physical education to fulfil the needs of different category and the achievement lemma of the individuals, who are in this profession.

This college is more concerned on offering adequate learning environment to its students by availing various facilities in academic and physical domain. Educational facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls through which out station students can have a comfortable stay. The capacity of the girls hostel hosts up to one hundred and fifty students. To support academic programs, it has a good college library and facilities for anatomical, physiological, health, education, physiotherapy, physical and athletic, and biomechanical laboratories. Muscle strength is also emphasized with the presence of standard gym and greatly diversified sports amenities. This college has well-developed physical facilities including a multi-activity outdoor play field for cricket football hockey rugby handball and athletic track and field. Besides that it also hosts specially designed courts for, kho-kho, kabaddi, lawn tennis, badminton, basketball and volleyball. Table tennis, billiards, carom, and chess players find the indoor sports facility very convenient. The college also boasts of a multipurpose hall with a capacity to accommodate more than 500 people in the hall for either event or gatherings.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.P.Ed (Bachelor of Physical Education):
The B.P.Ed course in Baliapal College of Physical Education has a sanctioned strength of 200 students. The college follows the admission policy of the State Government of Odisha and Utkal University. Candidates should finish their undergraduate degree to join this course.

M.P.Ed (Master of Physical Education):
