Bansur PG College, Alwar is a newly established college in the year of 2003 at Bansur of Rajasthan state. The institution is located on a 3.7 acre compound and it delivers 16 courses under six degree programmes. The college’s student’s enrolment is 2,653 and 22 faculty members, which make a favourable atmosphere for the higher education system. It is a co-ed College and known for its Bansur PG College and is approved from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It is an organisation that has specialisation various courses in arts, science, commerce, education at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Bansur PG College has several amenities which supplement the learning process of their learners in the college. A good library replenishes knowledge center and modern labs fulfill all instrumental learning requirements. Like most other colleges, the campus has separate hostels for boys and girls so that different outstation students can find better accommodation. Bansur PG College comprises of a total of 16 courses out of which some are undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The undergraduate composition includes full-time courses; BA, B.Sc, B.Com and integrated B.Ed programmes. At postgraduate level the college offers MA and M.Sc in different streams of learning.

The admission process at Bansur PG College is very simpler and the admission procedure is given priority for merit basis. In most courses admissions are given according to the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination.  For entry to these courses the candidates are allowed based on an entrance examination consisting of a written test, fitness test and interview besides the percentage scored by them in the qualifying examination.
