Beacon Institute of Technology, Meerut, is an engineering college established in 2010 at Partapur in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. This affiliated college is spread across 1.54 acres. BIT Meerut lies in the approval category of the All India Council for Technical Education and National Council for Teacher Education while quality education is being imparted under their umbrella in respective programs the college administrates. The institute has 11 courses across 5 degrees for a student enrolment of 322 in total. Being with 41 faculty.

Beacon Institute of Technology is furnished with a series of modern facilities to support other academic facilities. A great reservoir of knowledge for the students and faculty members, a fully stocked library comprising more than 7,000 wide-ranging engineering books and well-known magazines is featured on the campus. The computer laboratory comprises 120 high-end computers at BIT, Meerut, with the latest technology to provide hands-on experience to students. BIT Meerut offers a series of full-time courses of divergent disciplines. The institute has in its academic repertoire B.Ed, B.P.Ed, M.Ed, BCA, BBA, and various diploma programs in Engineering such as Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical (Production and Automobile), and Computer Science. The total approved intake of these programs is 635 seats, which ensures fair opportunity for the aspiring students. The prime focus of all programs is to provide the underpinning knowledge along with the practical applications to prepare students for a career in their stream.

Admissions at Beacon Institute of Technology are course specific. Admissions to B.Ed/B.P.Ed courses shall be made on the basis of merit through score in the qualifying examination and in the entrance examination, if any. Admission to B.P.Ed course will also be required to appear and pass the fitness test and interview. M.Ed admission follows the policy of selection as per the directive of state government/university/UT administration. The admission to the D.El.Ed programme also goes by means of merit.
