Bellamkonda Institute of Technology and Science, Podili, was a famous educational hub established in the year 2008. Spread over an area in Kambalapadu Village, Prakasam district, affiliated college in the state of Andhra Pradesh has grown to become one of the well-known pharmaceutical education providers over the last ten years. The institution is approved by PCI and runs various pharmaceutical programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The institute covers a small campus of 2.17 acres that offers an intimate learning environment with 159 enroled students. Courses offered in BITS Podili are oriented towards the changing industry needs in the pharmaceutical field. There are five full-time courses in the institute: one undergraduate program B.Pharma and four postgraduate specialisations of M.Pharma. These courses are designed to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for success in the field of pharmacy. With an intake capacity of 60 students, the B. Pharma course is the base or the nucleus of pharmaceutical education in BITS Podili.  At the postgraduate level, there are also four M. Pharma programs available, which are Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Analysis; each has an intake capacity of 18 students. These diversified courses offer an excellent opportunity for students to gain in-depth knowledge in areas of interest in pharmaceutical sciences. Also, the total sanctioned intake of all programmes together at this college is 132 students per year. The institute believes in quality education with controlled number of class strengths.
