BESM Arts and Commerce College, Byadgi, is an affiliated college which was started in the year 1984 and located in Haveri district of Karnataka. This institution located in a small area of 4 acres of land provides a specialised area of education in Arts and Commerce streams only. It has is affiliated with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) which affirm that the college upholds standard quality education. BESM Arts and Commerce College makes an effective use of the resources with a limited number of students and faculty members as of now of 621 students & 6 faculties respectively. The college offers two undergraduate programmes, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), assuring enrolment of student who seek humanities and business education.

BESM Arts and Commerce College has designed various facilities to supplement the learning process in the college. The library is one of the essential academic assets accommodating 1800sq.ft in two storeys. It consists of more than 14551 textbooks and 6216 refers and can seat 150 readers at one time and also has a computer and internet services. For sports enthusiasts, the college has a vast ground of 4.11 acres play field the college promote the games like Kabaddi volleyball ball badminton kho kho and athletics etc. The institution also offers hostels for both male and female students in order to make sure that the students from different parts of the country get decent accommodation.

BESM Arts and Commerce College offers two full-time undergraduate courses. These include Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com).
