Bhadrak Engineering School and Technology (BEST) is an affiliated college of Odisha established in the year 2009 at Bhadrak. Accepting the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), this institute provides the diploma in various sectors of engineering. BEST is located in a 5-acre campus, it has 1124 students in total intake with 51 faculty members. Five diploma courses are offered in the college across various disciplines to meet the requirement of engineering aspirants of the region.

Among the facilities offered at BEST that can aid students learning includes: The campus a separate hostels for boys and for girls, which can contain 75 and 40 students more or less correspondingly. An equipped library meets the needs of students and employees and is an important knowledge base. There are facilities to promote the aspect of sports in the college, and this has been adopted to ensure that the college was fully equipped with facilities to improve the general health of the learners. To keep updating itself to the enhanced technology, BEST has a perfect IT system in place.  The campus also contains a cafeteria with different sections for junior and senior boys and girls respectively to get relaxed while taking there meals. The institution also has six buses for commuting convenience although their operations depends on the areas. Facilitating each department is well-equipped laboratories, in addition to a fully equipped auditorium used in various activities and seminars. First aid facilities make student’s health perfect and a guest house is for the visiting faculty persons and families.

In total the institution provides five full time diploma courses, and thus the duration of all of these programs is three years. These courses are offered across the areas of Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. In total there is approval of 420 intake for all courses, Civil engineering has 120 intake Electrical engineering has 120 intake Mechanical engineering has 120 intake Computer science and engineering has 30 intake Electronics telecommunication engineering has 30 intake.
