Bhopal Institute of Technology and Science also known as BITS Bhopal is one of the premier institute of Bhopal situated in the capital city of Madhya Pradesh. BITS Bhopal teaches all branches engineering courses at the both under graduate and post graduating levels. The institute offers, six B.Tech programs & three M.Tech programs that have been developed to fulfill the modern day industrial needs. The B.Tech programs offered at the college are Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. Thesis level, student can take M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Power Systems, and Thermal Engineering. These are all full time courses hence students can fully engage in their areas of specialization. The total approved intake for these courses is 759 students and the above analysis also shows that the institute has the capability to produce a large number of engineers each year.

In the M.Tech programs the admissions are offered based on the candidate’s performance in GATE exam or the qualifying examination.
