Bir Lachit Borphukan College, Sivasagar was established in the year 1981. It is a co-educational institution located in the heart of Assam, India. Situated on NH-37 at Namtial Pathar, the affiliated college sprawls over a lush green 5.5-acre campus. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has accredited the college with regard to recognition in quality education. Bir Lachit Borphukan College, with its current enrolment of 770 students and a faculty strength of 28, offers different undergraduate courses in the arts stream.
