BKM College of Education, Purulia, is a co-educational institution that was established in the year 2014 for the growth and nourishment of future educators. Affiliated with any college, right in the heart of the beautiful village Lachhia, West Bengal, the Institution has won recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education. With prior approval from the State Government, set amidst a compact 0.89-acre campus, BKM College provides an appropriate setting for focused learning to its 190 students. This is indeed encouraging, with a total of 16 dedicated teachers in this faculty. This gives enough scope for personalised attention and hence quality education in its two specialised courses.

The college is affiliated with the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institution boasts of well-equipped modern facilities, raising the standard of the learning environment for the students studying here.
