BL Patil Polytechnic was set in the year 1983 and it is one of the pioneering institute offering technical education in Khopoli, Raigad district of Maharashtra. This affiliated college which was approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) offers degree programmes in various engineering disciplines at diploma level. With the total area of just 4.28 acres, a polytechnic has 141 students and 32 members of faculty team. BL Patil Polytechnic has set focus on technical education offers six diploma courses with the duration of three years each in different engineering disciplines. 

BL Patil Polytechnic boasts of a range of updates to improve the learning environment for the learners enrolled in the courses provided by the institute. The well-stocked library makes available to the students and other member of the academic community a vast collection of technical books and other literature. The institute has been allowed to admit a total of 240 students for all its programmes, which shows that it has the ability to train a good number of would-be engineers every year. The courses are Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and so on.
