BLDEA's Commerce BHS Arts and TGP Science College, Jamkhandi,  a premier institution in the field of higher learning in the state of Karnataka, India was started in 1963 at Jamkhandi. This affiliated college is located in Bagalkot district and has been in the business of moulding young minds for the past almost six decades. The institution is physically located in a compact but review, lush green piece of land that stretches over fifty-four point thirty one acres ideal for learning. Sky-high enrolment at 3,591 students and investment in its faculty of adorable 45 members the college renders 9 courses from 8 degree programmes.

This centre of knowledge is home to 62,022 books besides the newspapers, 41 periodicals and magazines, and about 40 journals. The college provides two hostels for female students namely – ‘Krishna’ and ‘Tungabhadra’ each with ‘Krishna’ hostel having a capacity of 250 men students and ‘Tungabhadra’ with 120 men students. The boys’ hostel portion has the capacity for 112 students due to 37 rooms contained in the facility.
