Bokaro Steel City College is an accredited college that was found in 1970 in Bokaro in the state of Jharkhand. This constituent college, spread over a vast area of 20 acre, has got 3,311 students studying in it and provides a list of courses like as Business and Management Studies, Computing and Business, Business Management, Computing, Web Design, and Multimedia. The college is recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institution has 24 dedicated fulltime faculty members and offers 23 courses in 8 degree programmes with specialisation in Arts, Sciences, Commerce and professional programmes.

The college prepares adequate infrastructure and resources for the improved learning of the students of Bokaro Steel City College. The college also has professional programmes like BCA, BBA, and a B.Ed programme with an intake of 100 students was approved. For those interested in mastering their degrees. there are post graduate programmes like Master of Science in Mathematics and Master of Arts in History. 

The process of admission to Bokaro Steel City College is simple and it give admission through marks obtained in previous examination. As for the B.Ed programme,  admission into the programme is given according to the merit scored in the qualifying examination/entrance test as per the rules and regulations laid down by the state government and university to which the college is affiliated. The college provides various amenities for the students; a medical centre in cases of disease or minor ailment, a canteen and an availability centre for events such as seminars.
