BPS Mahila Polytechnic, Sonipat, is an institution established in 1984 and one of the premier institutions built specifically to impart technical education for women located at Khanpur Kalan, Haryana. The affiliated college has the approval of AICTE and PCI for various diploma courses offered by it in its different disciplines. The Institute has a campus spread over an area of 10 acres and has as many as 427 students along with faculty strength of 13. BPS Mahila Polytechnic means enabling women to secure quality technical education that shall upscale the skills of women towards realizing professionalism in engineering and technology.

The institute has state-of-art facilities available for the better learning experiences among its students. This campus boasts of providing state-of-the-art laboratories, fully equipped with the very latest technological platform, to ensure it delivers practical training meeting industry standards. This is the center of learning and accommodation for about 100 students at a go. It has around 9,000 volumes supplemented by 10 regularly subscribed journals and magazines. For the students from outside, there is a well-appointed hostel with 350 beds capacity all-around, providing all the amenities of a comfortable living condition, with 24-hour electricity. The institute has also provided various facilities such as sports, gym, cafeteria, medical amenities, and so on to provide the all-round development ambience.

BPS Mahila Polytechnic offers eight full-time diploma programs catering to the dynamic changing needs of industry. These sprawl in Pharmacy, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Fashion Technology, Architecture Assistantship, Library and Information Science, and Office Management and Computer Applications. 

Admission procedure in BPS Mahila Polytechnic is done through an entrance examination conducted by Haryana State Counseling Society, Panchkula.
