BR College of Education, Mahendragarh was established in the year 2008, as the leading teacher training institution in Haryana, India. This co-educational institute is affiliated with the State University and has gained much fame for its mission of preparing the future teachers. It has two courses in Education with an intake capacity of 194, spread over a compact 1-acre campus. BR College of Education has a staff strength of 8 dedicated faculty members who can ensure individualized attention and quality instruction for students. The institute is recognized by NCTE, thus indicating that it follows national standards for teacher education.

This college has a number of facilities to augment the learning processes of its students. One such facility is that of the library with more than 3,500 books covering various fields in education. BR College of Education imparts two regular courses on education: two-year B.Ed with the intake of 100 students for preparing the graduate students fit to teach the secondary schools and D.El.Ed also for two years meant for primary education.  Admissions to BR College of Education are done based on merit and the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations and/or entrance examinations. As for B.Ed., the institution follows the admission policy as instructed by the State Government, UT administration, or affiliated University. The same applies to the D.El.Ed. course, whose mode of admission is directed by the State Government or UT administration.
