BR College of Education, Narsipatnam, was basically started in the year 2007 as an affiliated college in Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. The co-educational campus is compactly arranged on 1 acres with the avowed aim of growth for future educators. This institution is approved by NCTE and offers two specialised programmes in education. With a total student enrolment of 197 and a faculty strength of 16, B R College of Education provides each aspiring teacher with a focused learning environment. The College is well-equipped with adequate infrastructure to cater to the academic needs of the students. 

The facilities include a well-stocked library acting as a knowledge hub, while departmental laboratories provide hands-on training. The auditorium, which hosts a variety of programmes, seminars, and events, makes the academic environment very lively. The students also have great IT infrastructure, which helps them to stay updated with all the technological advancements in learning. BR College of Education offers two full-time courses in the area of education: Bachelor of Education, with an enrolment of 100 students, which is a two-year course aimed at preparing students for teaching at secondary schools; another is the Diploma in Elementary Education, which is also a two-year programme that admits 50 students for primary education. Both courses are designed to provide in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical teaching skills, using the latest standards in education and pedagogical practice.

Admission is taken in BR College of Education through Merit mode, subject to availability of seats in all the courses, considering marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests. Admissions to the B.Ed. course shall be made on the basis of the candidate's performance at the qualifying examination or entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policies of the concerned State Government, Union Territory administration and the affiliated University. The D.El.Ed. course adopts a merit-based admission system strictly in accordance with the policies of the State Government or UT Administration. These processes ensure that the most motivated and most qualified candidates are selected to pursue their teaching aspirations.
