Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital (BIDSH), Patna was established in 1984 by “Gautam International Pratisthan”. The institute is affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar and recognised by the Dental Council of India. BIDSH Patna offers a Diploma in Dental Hygienist, a Diploma in Dental Mechanics, BDS and MDS courses in 9 different specialisations. The courses are offered in the fields of Medicine and Allied Sciences. Admission to diploma courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination while admission to BDS and MDS courses at Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital will be based on the marks scored in the NEET UG and NEET PG examinations.
