60 MonthsThe Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is 5 years, which includes 4 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship offered by Magadh University, Bodhgaya, and approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
Eligibility Criteria
Pass in 10+2, with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology, and English as one of the languages of study. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and should be NEET-UG qualified. NEET qualification is a prerequisite for admission to BDS. Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear for NEET-UG.
Admission Details
As per the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the Central Government, candidates should qualify for the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi for admission to BDS Courses in Dental Colleges run with the approval of Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
