Buddha Polytechnic Institute, Gaya, also known as BIT Polytechnic Gaya, is a private polytechnic college established in 2008. It is a unit of Buddha Group of Institutions and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education, Bihar. BIT Polytechnic Gaya Courses include diploma and undergraduate programs in various fields of engineering and commerce. The BIT Gaya diploma courses are offered in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Engineering. The BIT Gaya undergraduate courses are offered in BCA, BBA and B.Com. The diploma courses have a duration of three years for regular entry and two years for lateral entry. The undergraduate courses have a duration of three years. The BIT Polytechnic Gaya eligibility criteria for the diploma courses is passing 10th with 45% marks for regular entry and passing 10+2 Science with Vocational or 10+2 years ITI pass with 60% marks for lateral entry. The BIT Gaya eligibility criteria for the undergraduate courses is passing 10+2 from a recognised board.
