Buddha Polytechnic Institute, Gaya also known as BIT Polytechnic Gaya, is a private polytechnic college established in 2008. It is a unit of the Buddha Group of Institutions and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education, Bihar. BIT Polytechnic Gaya Courses include diploma and undergraduate programs in various fields of engineering and commerce.
The BIT Gaya diploma courses are offered in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics Engineering. The BIT Gaya undergraduate courses are offered in BCA, BBA, and B.Com. The diploma courses have a duration of three years for regular entry and two years for lateral entry. The undergraduate courses have a duration of three years. The BIT Polytechnic Gaya admissions for the diploma courses are based on the entrance test conducted by the institute or the DCECE exam. Admissions for the undergraduate courses are based on merit.
