Cambridge Institute of Polytechnic is a polytechnic college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). CIP Ranchi was founded by Late Dr. Bahadur Singh. The institute is affiliated to the Jharkhand University of Technology. The institute offers 4 diploma courses.
