Caritas College of Nursing, Kottayam (CCN) is a reputed college exclusively for providing nursing education started its journey in the year 2002. This affiliated college is situated at Thellakom, Kottayam, Kerala and has been setting up the future years healthcare courses trainees for over twenty years. Having been accorded the INC affiliation, CCN provides various nursing courses for learning at the undergraduate and the postgraduate level. It is accredited college with compact area of 4.5 acres and has 239 students authorized to study in this college. CCN has 23 dedicated faculty members with sufficient teaching experience Student-faculty ratio at CCN is highly desirable So students get proper attention.

The college firmly believes in offering the best resources that will enable its students achieve better studying environment. CCN has facilitated establishment of well stocked library and has an adequate writing materials covering areas such as Pediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Microbiology, Psychology, Community Health Nursing, Sociology and Nutrition. The college also has well equipped modern information technology facilities that allows the students to be conversant with modern technological developments in health care facilities. For practical training, CCN has department based laboratories to ensure students practice their assignments in practical setting. To female students the university has a facility for accommodation for girls commonly known as Deiva Matha Hostel with adequate security to host female students during their study_PERIOD. Caritas College of Nursing provides abundant numbers of nursing programs to suit different interests within the nursing profession. The college offers six full time courses two of which are Undergraduate programs and the remaining four are Post Graduate courses. Under CCN at graduate level the college provides four years B.Sc Nursing with a total intake of 7 0students , post basic B.Sc Nursing with a total intake of 15 students for two years. For those wishing to upgrade their positions, the college offers 5 M.Sc Nursing programs which take 2 years to complete and are for 4 students per course. 

Among these is M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing, M.Sc Community Health Nursing, M.Sc Paediatric Nursing, M.Sc Obstetrics and M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing, M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing. Altogether, CCN has an approved capacity of 105 students to allow admission to all its programs it offers onset to ensure it offers quality education and offer adequate attention to the students.
