• Central Institute of Hand Tools, Jalandhar has released the Reimbursement of Tuition Fee of SC/ ST Candidates for 1st quarter and 2nd quarter.

The government of India (GOI) set up the Central Institute of Hand Tools as a National Institute in Jalandhar (Punjab) an autonomous organization with the assistance of the UNDP and Govt. of Punjab in the year 1983, with a view to providing trained manpower and technology support services to engineering industry.

CIHT Jalandhar has been approved by AICTE & affiliated with PSBTE & IT CHD. The institute offers engineering education in various skill development courses which are in high demand in fields like Product Design & Development, CNC Programming & Machining, CAD/ CAM, PLC, Electrician and Quality Control along with Mechatronics/ Automation, Welding, etc. and provides services to engineering industries in various areas such as tool room, testing, heat treatment, and quality control.
