In Uttar Pradesh, The Chanmati Educational and Teacher Training Institute Gorakhpur has stepped into the year of 2017 and continues to shine bright among the best educational establishments. Affiliated to Lucknow University, this college at Gayatri Nagar, Kunraghat aims at producing quality teachers of future. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the institute has adequate teaching facilities on a tiny area of 0.75-acre of land. The institute is currently furnished with 98 students and 13 faculty members, thus adopting a small-scale education philosophy.

Chanmati Educational and Teacher Training Institute, Gorakhpur is an affiliated college of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. Chanmati Educational and Teacher Training Institute has several facilities to facilitate students learning in the institute, and has continued to expand the infrastructural base. Labs presented in the college provide students with practical experiences, which is significant for educational practice. At Chanmati Educational and Teacher Training Institute, there are only two full time courses which takes two years each. The curriculum for the B.Ed course is spread over a period of two years, and there are 100 seats of admission, while there are 100 seats of admission for the D.El.Ed course that is of one year duration. 

The admission process of Chanmati Educational and Teacher Training Institute is different for different programmes. For the B.Ed course, it is the entrance examination conducted by a state government university which determines who gets into the course. Candidates who meet these requirements undergo counselling to choose the specific training institute of their choice. The D.El.Ed programme is different in that online applications are open to state-level graduate students.
