Charak Institute of Pharmacy is a pioneer pharmacy institute of Madhya Pradesh. The institute is situated in Mandleshwar, belonging to tehsil Maheshwar and comes under the jurisdiction of Khargone district. Draun Shiksha Samiti established it in the year 2006 with a view to providing quality education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences.

Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi approves this institute to run the Pharmacy Course in the Nimar Region. Charak Institute of Pharmacy is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalay (RGPV) Bhopal (M.P.). Director of Technical Education (DTE) regulates the counselling and admission procedures for admission of the B.Pharm. Students. The institute offers a 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and a two-year Masters of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology. The flagship programme of the college, B.Pharma has a maximum of 100 intake followed by each M.Pharmacy specialisation that has 18 intake. Charak Institute of Pharmacy follows the principles of free and fair admission policies. The skills of the students aspiring for B.Pharma degree are in general, selected through entrance examinations and their 12th standard marks. The M.Pharm programmes lay consideration on the scores of the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) for admissions. 

Charak Institute of Pharmacy is fully loaded with well-furnished classrooms, tutorial rooms and laboratories. Charak Institute of Pharmacy facility also includes a library with occupancy for about 100 students at a time, and more than 3500 books with 763 different titles covering all area of the pharmaceutical discipline. The institute promotes the students to participate in intellectual and sports activities. The institute is proud to be the first Non-government pharmacy institute to run the National Service Scheme (NSS) activities.
