CMS College of Engineering and Technology, located at coimbatore was started in the year 2009 approved by AICTE and affiliated to the Annamalai University. Situated in Othakalmandapam Post, Coimbatore, the institute itself is vast contemplating its area of 27 acres of land. Total number of students admitted are 421 and the faculty strength in the college is 63, CMS College is a college offering 11 courses in two degree programs. 

The CMS College of Engineering and Technology has the following facilities which has made the experience of a student more enhanced. The library is 473 sqm with book collection more than the 14000, 548 CD’s, and 103 national and international journals subscription. For sports lovers there are indoor and outdoor facilities available in the campus chess carom yoga, table tennis badminton, volleyball football and cricket. CMS College has hostels accommodation for boys and girls from different areas, well furnished with quality food to be consumed, TV halls, inversion power supply. 

The courses that are offered by CMS College of Engineering and Technology ensures that students are offered all round training to fit all interests. These 9 undergraduate courses and 2 post graduate courses are full time courses that are offered by the institute including BE Cyber security and BE Mechanical engineering. Although the graduation data for the latest year is missing the college offers vocationally oriented curriculum to provide practical education for the students to succeed in the selected courses.

Admission in CMS College of Engineering and Technology differs with the course of study. The counselling for undergraduate engineering courses are through score of Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA). CEETA-PG is in charge of postgraduate admissions for programs such as Masters of Engineering like Computer Science and Engineering and Master of Embedded Systems Technologies.
